Quick Sizing Tips

1

When in doubt, go one size up

The cost difference between adjacent sizes is usually small. The cost of needing a second haul is always large.

2

Heavy materials fill up by weight, not volume

Concrete, dirt, and brick will hit the weight limit well before the container looks full. For heavy debris, we recommend calling us to discuss load options.

3

Measure your space before booking

A 20-yard dumpster is 22 feet long. Make sure you have clearance for delivery and that overhead wires or trees won't be an issue.

4

Don't mix heavy and light material poorly

If you layer heavy concrete on top of light debris, you may exceed the weight limit. Mix heavy and light throughout the load.

5

Flat items stack, bulky items waste space

Furniture, doors, and lumber take up much more space than their material weight suggests. For very bulky loads, consider a 30-yard even for a modest project.
